We are happy to report that we had another successful mailing in March at which time we sent out over 4000 pounds of supplies,necessities and personally requested items to our heroes overseas. This included toiletries, sundries, food items and treats, reading and writing materials and cards and letters from the Foundation and from Americans all over the country.We have now sent 86,000 pounds of items in care packages and look forward to breaking the 100,000 pound mark within the next few months. Thanks to the ongoing support of our friends at American Legion Hall, Brentwood, NY and Premiere Storage Solutions the Foundation continues to grow and expand. We thank Dominick and Julia Mavellia for their offer of additional storage space in Deer Park, NY.

Mickey B from B-103 came to visit us during our March packing and he will be doing a Golden Oldies Benefit Concert on June 30, 2007 at 7:30 PM at the Patchogue Theatre, 71 Main Street, Patchogue, NY with partial proceeds to benefit Jacob's Light Foundation, Inc. Special thanks to the wonderful teachers and students at Tamarac Elementary School for their beautiful cards and letters for the troops. Also thanks to Har-Ber FFA school for their wonderful letters and cards as well.

Special thanks to Mr and Mrs Reiss of Saint Anthony of Padua Church in Northport,NY and their Level 1 Confirmation Class for their April 21st Support Our Troops Fundraiser. They raised over $500 for our troops. Check out their photos in our Gallery!

We would also like to thank the St Margaret's Church,Plainview ,NY for their November 2006 fundraiser and all the beautiful cards and letters from their children.. They raised $750 for the Foundation.

Special thanks also goes to Centerport United Methodist Church,Centerport, NY for their donation of $300 to assist with our mission. One of the members of this church is a grandmother of a Marine soon to be deployed overseas. We wish this Marine much success and thank you for supporting our efforts on behalf of the men and women fighting so bravely overseas.

Thanks again to Annette Gibson and her Girlscout Troop and Cubic Simulations for donating $1300 worth of girlscout cookies for our soldiers. You can find their photo in our gallery as well.

Thanks go out to Girlscout Troop 3592 of Rices Landing, PA and to Troop J-2539 of Parkville, MD for their cookie donations as well.

We would like to send special thanks to Donnie Abraham for his donation of CD's "My Music Lives On" for our heroes which included a beautiful USA medley. donnie9933@att.net.

Also, we would like to thank Big Daddy Jeff Wayne for donating 150 copies of his comedy CD "Right from the Start". www.jeffwayne.com. Jeff donated his CD's in memory of Sgt. Justin Scott who gave his life for our country while serving in Afganistan.
